Hiking for clarity
“When people will not weed their own minds, they are apt to be overrun by nettles.” - Horace Walpole
I gain so much more than views when I hike. Being surrounded by natural occurrences allows me to think naturally - in my center and at peace. I get to talk things out with myself. Figure out what’s wrong and what’s right. Breathe in clean air and above all just exist. Sometimes my mind goes clear and my hike turns into an active meditation. My only concerns are food and water (and sometimes bears). Keeping the day simple while being kissed by the sun.
Of All Trades,
