Phillipsburg, MT 🎃

This Halloween we spent our evening walking around the remains of the richest silver mine town on earth back in the 1870’s. In it‘s prime it yielded more than $40 million. It is a small town named Granite, MT right inside of Phillipsburg. 4X4 and snow tires were necessary this time of year to view the abandoned town as the road was steep, narrow and snow covered. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any mining ghosts this time but it doesn’t mean they’re not out there. We ended the night parked at the edge of the ghost town and watched a suspenseful western film: Bone Tomahawk. Happy Halloween and Daylight Savings 👻
