The Artist Balance

I’ve been keeping a lot of my writings to myself lately. As I delve into the world of being a self-proclaimed “writer,” I’m noticing the tight rope dance of giving a piece of yourself and giving all of yourself. Writing is a very intimate experience with yourself. It's where thoughts translate into physical words.

Capitalism wants you to always be producing, right?! So as an artist, when do you stop producing for capitalism and start producing for yourself?

Constantly learning the balance of "this one's for others" and "this one's for me" in my writiting, in my thoughts, in my creations and with my time.
